Dr. Mastrangelo is an expert surgeon in Bend, Oregon. He is very active in the state and local medical community and was appointed by Governor John Kitzhaber, MD, in 2011 to serve on the Oregon Medical Board. Additional appointments include; OHSU M3 Surgical Rotation, Trustee for the Oregon Medical Association, former Chief of General Surgery at St. Charles Hospital and former President of the Central Oregon Medical Society, to name a few. He has also held various faculty and teaching positions, co-authored many publications, and presented his research and knowledge both nationally and internationally.
